The goal of restorative dentistry is to repair your smile to how it looked and functioned before injury or disease. Below, you’ll find our list of dental services designed to help you restore your teeth.
If you have recently lost one or more teeth, you’ll want to schedule an appointment with our Jenison family dentist. Our dentist at McMahon Family Dental has experience helping patients restore their smiles after tooth loss.

Our dentists use CEREC to create your dental crown in one day. CEREC eliminates the need for a temporary crown and a second appointment. The CEREC crown is made out of a block of ceramic before being polished or glazed to a natural shine. The tooth restoration is then bonded into place, creating a seamless fit with your natural dentition.
People are living longer than ever, and while regular brushing, flossing, and checkups allow many of us to maintain our natural smiles for a lifetime, sometimes our teeth just can’t keep up. If you’ve lost a tooth (or a few teeth) due to injury or disease, dental implants can rejuvenate both your smile and your oral health.
A dental crown is an aesthetic restoration used to strengthen a tooth or improve its shape. They are bonded onto an existing tooth and fully cover the portion of your tooth above the gum line. In effect, the dental crown becomes your tooth’s new outer surface.
Our bonded fillings include ceramic and new resin compounds that mimic the appearance of natural tooth enamel. These new bonded materials allow us to save as much healthy tooth structure as possible. Our dentists are also able to use white fillings to achieve the best aesthetic results for your smile.
Our Jenison dentists do everything in their power to save your tooth. However, you may need an emergency tooth extraction to protect your overall oral health. Our dentists take x-rays to determine the best method for pulling teeth. Once they develop a plan for tooth removal, you will be prepped for the dental procedure.
